About Bruce Dicks Travel Wildlife Sound Gigs

Bruce Dicks Travel Wildlife Sound Gigs was created to share the rhythm of small-town stages, outdoor adventures, and authentic North Florida wildlife. My journey began behind the soundboard, where I learned how a clean mix can bring a room to life. Over the years, that passion grew into a lifestyle blending music, travel, and nature into one story.

From weekend concerts to sunrise wildlife encounters, I document moments that highlight the connection between sound, adventure, and the natural world. Whether it’s mixing a festival crowd at Spirit of the Suwannee or spotting deer after a late-night show, every experience shapes the heart of this platform.

A Lifetime Behind the Boards

My live sound journey started over 40 years ago in church, where I first learned the power of a balanced mix. That foundation took me everywhere — from community events to full-scale concerts and multi-band festivals across Florida.

I run sound regularly at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, working with regional artists and national performers. On stage or at front-of-house, my goal is always the same: make great music sound even better.

I also partner with 1st Street Music & Sound in Lake City, providing professional live sound for weddings, festivals, community events, and special productions. Helping bands create unforgettable performances is one of my favorite parts of the job.

Exploring North Florida Travel & Wildlife

When I’m not behind the soundboard, I’m on the road exploring North Florida’s natural beauty — rivers, trails, deer, springs, forests, and late-night drives after gigs. The travel and wildlife side of Bruce Dicks Travel Wildlife Sound Gigs highlights the real Florida: quiet roads, wild moments, and peaceful places many people overlook.

Many of my favorite stories happen after shows at Spirit of the Suwannee — deer crossing the road at midnight, fog rolling over the river, and wildlife appearing in the headlights while the sound of the concert still echoes behind me.
